“Kendrick, I don’t think it would be such a bad idea for you to move back in with your parents, that way you can recover and focus on finishing school. Our home is not the best place for you right now; you need someone to look after you, and I can’t do that right now.”
“Knowledge, my mom can come to our home and take care of me, and I can heal and get back on my studies. We can plan our wedding and plan for a family. Why do I feel like you are breaking up with me…”
“Angel, I can’t do this anymore. This isn’t working. You said it yourself; everything has been tragic since the day we met. We moved completely too fast, and I am dealing with a lot of shit right now.”
Kendrick felt a pain in her stomach as tears began to stream down her face. She positioned her body to directly look at him.
Kendrick suddently felt dizzy.
“Are you serious? This is ridiculous Knowledge. We work! There is no me without you!” she asked as she felt the hot tears begin to burn her eyes.
She watched Knowledge’s face; his expression was hard and showed no emotion.
“Kendrick, go live with your parents, finish living out your plans before I came into your life. I don’t need you or want this drama in my life. Our worlds are too different, and we must keep them that way!”
She felt her throat close, making it hard for her to speak.
“Baby, you… don’t… need… or… want… me?” she repeated.
“NO. Kendrick. Never Did!”
